SICOE- Liberia; a non for profit national non-governmental and independent organization, was founded since 2014. SICOE-Liberia believes that educating households in communities is the primary and initial approach to addressing the issues of poor community health care in Liberia. A true statement that says that “prevention and better than cure” still lives on. Therefore, through assessment to identify threats or risks jointly with members of these communities, health issues could be mitigated drastically. To achieve this, SICOE-Liberia works with community structures, train them in various community preventive health care methods to improve overall knowledge, aptitude and practices for social behavior change and proficient use of community action plans that are checked for best results.

Moreover, SICOE-Liberia aims to create opportunities for more productive jobs and provide employment opportunities for marginalized groups (women, adolescent girls and Youth). Decent work and Livelihoods creation including economic development are key determinants in the socioeconomic empowerment of youth.
